The T8 Portable Cable Fault Locator is a powerful and modular fault detection system engineered for fast, accurate, and safe location of faults in low to medium voltage power cables (220V–11kV). Combining three key modules—WL20 TDR, LP15/8 surge generator, and PP20 pinpointing unit—the T8 system supports multiple diagnostic techniques including Low Voltage TDR, Impulse Current Method (ICE), and Arc Reflection Method (ARM) (optional).
Each component functions independently or as part of a seamless fault location workflow, making it perfect for field technicians. With pinpoint acoustic-magnetic synchronization and enhanced safety features like double grounding and overload protection, the T8 ensures fault isolation without system downtime.
Applications:
Underground cable fault detection
Substation cable diagnostics
Power distribution fault analysis
Maintenance of LV and MV utility cables
Accurate location of open, short, and high-resistance faults
